Attorney advertising
v1.0.0 · effective 2026-08-23
This website is attorney advertising. It describes the areas of law Apparently Law works in, how engagements are structured, and how work is priced.
Nothing on this site is a guarantee, warranty or prediction about the outcome of any matter. No result in any matter can be promised, and prior results — where any are ever described — would not guarantee a similar outcome.

Not legal advice
v1.0.0 · effective 2026-08-23
The content of this site, including any interactive tool, checklist or calculator, is general information. It is not legal advice, it is not an opinion on your facts, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a lawyer who has been engaged to look at your specific situation.
Interactive tools on this site produce output from the inputs you give them. They do not evaluate your circumstances, they do not know facts you have not entered, and their output is illustrative only.

- v1.0.0 · 2026-08-23Initial publication. Covers site content and, explicitly, the output of interactive tools — which produce results from entered inputs and evaluate no one’s circumstances.
No attorney–client relationship
v1.0.0 · effective 2026-08-23
Using this site, submitting an intake or licensing request, or corresponding with us about a possible matter does not create an attorney–client relationship.
A relationship is created only when conflicts have been cleared and a written engagement letter has been signed by both you and the firm. Until that happens, information you send is not treated as confidential or privileged, so please do not send confidential or sensitive material through the forms on this site.
Every engagement is performed by an attorney licensed in the relevant jurisdiction. Where a matter requires expertise or admission we do not have, we will say so rather than take the work.

- v1.0.0 · 2026-08-23Initial publication. A relationship begins only on cleared conflicts and a signed engagement letter; material sent before that is neither confidential nor privileged.
Pricing information
v1.0.0 · effective 2026-08-23
Prices published on this site are indicative starting points, provided so prospective clients can plan and budget. They are not quotes and not offers of representation.
The scope of your matter and the price that applies are confirmed in writing before any work begins, and are governed by your engagement letter.

The practitioner network
v1.0.0 · effective 2026-08-23
Apparently Law works with independent attorneys who practise under their own licences and carry their own professional responsibility for the work they sign.
Where the firm provides technology, administration, intake and back-office services to independent practitioners, it does so as a service provider. Fees for those services are technology and administration fees and are not a share of any legal fee.

Privacy
v1.0.0 · effective 2026-08-23
We collect the information you submit through forms on this site — your name, contact details, the organisation you represent and the description of your matter — for the purpose of routing, conflicts checking and responding to your request.
We do not sell personal information. We share it with service providers who host and process it on our behalf, and with the attorney to whom your matter is routed. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected and to meet our professional and legal obligations.
To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email us and we will respond.

Jurisdiction and applicability
v1.0.0 · effective 2026-08-23
This site is directed at prospective clients in the United States. It is not an offer to provide legal services in any jurisdiction where doing so would require an admission, registration or authorisation the responsible attorney does not hold.
If a rule in your jurisdiction treats any part of this site as inconsistent with local professional-conduct requirements, that part does not apply to you.
